About Hardings of Exmoor
Harding's was established in the picturesque and historic village of Lynmouth in 1971 as a leather and sheepskin shop, progressing successfully over the years to become a small company with various outlets pinpointed across the UK.
Harding's of Exmoor is a company which was established in 1995 by David Harding and is also situated in Lynmouth in the heart of Exmoor, Britain's smallest national park and one of only three areas in the UK classified as tranquil.
David is a keen outdoor adventure specialist, being Deputy Station Officer of HM Coastguard in Lynmouth and a former member of the Exmoor Search and Rescue team.
Much of his time has been spent out searching Exmoor and the surrounding cliffs in all elements of the weather, testing clothing and equipment to the extreme and ensuring intimate knowledge of the products.
